Campbell American Made Anchor shackles are an integral part of connecting links for different types of rigging systems for industrial, agricultural and marine applications. The circular body of the anchor shackle permits multi directional load handling but only so long as the direction of the load is in the plane of the bow AND appropriate adjustments to WLL is made based on the angle of the load. The trade size 3/4" anchor shackle has an inline working load limit of 9500 lb (4-3/4 U.S. Ton). A 45 degree angle of load implies 30% loss of WLL ( 3-1/3 Ton WLL ), while a 90 degree load (i.e. parallel to pin) implies 50% loss of WLL ( 2-1/3 Ton WLL ).
