The Karp DSB-214SM 16 in. x 16 in. Surface Mounted Flush Access Door-Cylinder Lock Ceiling/Wall from Industrial Hardware and Specialties is an interior 16" x 16" ( rough opening ) non-fire-rated, non-waterproof, plain flat panel for ceiling/wall applications. The 2F-SM1616-CY is fabricated with a steel 14 gauge frame, 14 gauge non-removable door, a steel exposed spring-loaded retractable pin hinge, and the door is finished with a prime coated white enamel.

Surface Mounted Flush Access Door-Cylinder Lock Ceiling/Wall.This 16" x 16" surface mounted flush access door has it's frame constructed from 14 gauge steel, while the non-removable door is made from 14 gauge steel and is finished with a prime coat of rust inhibitive electrostatic powder baked white enamel finish. The Karp Associates DSB-214SM model door is a surface mounted door that does not require framing, bracing or notching and cutting of inner wall obstructions. A single piece construction of the frame prevents unit from racking and allows door to sit perfectly within frame and to open to 175 degrees. The 2F-SM1616-CY is non-watertight and non-fire-rated.
