The Karp KSTE/CAD 24 in. x 24 in. Sesame Exposed Grid Ceiling Hatch is an American Made ceiling access panel designed for use in square or beveled edge ceiling tile designs.This Karp Associates Model KSTE/CAD ceiling access door is for interior applications. The frame is made from 20 gauge hot dipped galvanized steel, the door opens to 90 degrees but is also removable, it is non-watertight, non-fire-rated, and opens using a square shanked key.

Sesame Exposed Grid Ceiling Hatch.This 24" x 24" exposed grid ceiling access hatch is the perfect solution for room designed with an exposed grid system.Furnished with a concealed pivot hinge with a CAD (Controlled Action Device) for safety, this Karp Model KSTE access hatch will open to a check position before opening to a full 90 degrees. If more work above the directly fastened, or suspended ceiling becomes necessary and the 90 degree opening isn't enough, the 20 gauge electro-galvanized steel panel lined with a 3/8" mineral fiberboard is fully removable from it's 20 gauge frame, providing the additional access to the ceiling for maintenance or repairs.
