1. Material Grade and Surface Coating
Material and Surface Coating may impact the lead time, and cost of a Rod End. If you need a grade not offered by this configurator, place your request in the notes section.
- Drop-Forged Carbon Steel C1030/1035: Zinc, Black Oxide, Galvanized
- Drop-Forged Carbon Steel C1045: Zinc, Black Oxide, Galvanized
- Drop-Forged Alloy Steel 4140: Zinc, Black Oxide, Galvanized
- Drop-Forged Stainless Steel Type 304: Passivated, Electropolished
- Drop-Forged Stainless Steel Type 316: Passivated, Electropolished
2. Threaded or Non-Threaded Shank
Choose between a non-threaded Rod End called a Rod End Blank, and threaded shank Rod End also known as a Rod End Bolt.
3. A- Shank Diameter or Diameter Thread Pitch
We offer Non-Threaded Shank Diameter sizes ranging from 1/4" to 2-1/2". While cut threaded Diameter Thread Pitches come in Coarse sizes, Fine sizes, and More. It ranges from 1/4"-20 to 1-1/2"-6.
4. B- Center of Eye to End In Inches
This option will determine the length of your Rod End. The measurement is from the center of the eye to the end of the rod.
5. C- Eye O.D. (Outside Diameter)
Available options are determined by Shank Diameter / Diameter Thread Pitch. If you need a specialized size include it in the notes.
6. D- Head Thickness
Available options are determined by Shank Diameter / Diameter Thread Pitch.
7. E- Hole I.D. (Inside Diameter)
Available options are determined by outside Diameter. If you need a specialized size indicate it in the notes.
8. F- Shank Thread Length in Inches
Enter the length you desire or simply write Fully Threaded. Fully Threaded Rod Ends will have up to 1/2" of ununthreaded shank under the head.
